Marni has 26 years of skiing and snowboarding experience on the slopes of Stevens Pass. Born with a passion for winter sports, Marni began ski racing with SPAC, TAS and Mt. Hood Academy. She quickly converted to snowboarding after winning the US Nationals in 2000. Marni is currently competing around the globe as a member of the US Snowboard Team. Her experience and ability has led her to top finishes in the X games, Vans Triple Crown, US Extreme Championships, and World Cup. Marni is a world class athlete and coaches with passion while building the future of the sport.
Kyle has 28 years of skiing and snowboarding experience at Stevens Pass. Over the years Kyle has earned his PSIA Level 3 Certification and has continued to coach both skiers and snowboarders for 9 years at LCE and Olympic Ski School. Kyle began his competitive career racing with SPAC and Lyons and continued his passion for competition in Big Air, Slope-Style, Half-Pipe (Both Skiing and Snowboarding!!) and Skier and Boardercross. While coaching, he brings his enthusiasm of both sports. You may also see his face on the Stevens Pass lift tickets and brochures!
Kelly has 27 years of skiing and snowboarding under her belt. She raced for SPAC, the International Ski Academy, was a Junior Olympic competitor and was a member of the WWU Snowboard Team. Kelly previously instructed for Lake City Elks and Olympic Ski School for four years. She is PSIA Alpine Certified Level I and also PSIA Freestyle Level 2 (Skiing). Kelly's competition experience is diverse in Boardercross, Half pipe, and Slope-Style both in skiing and snowboarding. Kelly is an enthusiastic and focused rider, dedicated to the advancement of free riding at Steven’s Pass. Kelly's smiling face and skiing technique has also been featured in Stevens Pass marketing content for the past three years.
Frank learned how to snowboard in the foothills of the White Mountains in western Maine. At the age of 11, when no one really knew what a snowboard was, Frank had his heart set on having one. As a young snowboarder, he quickly climbed thru the ranks of slalom, giant slalom and super giant slalom competitions. His courses and coaches at Carrabassett Valley Academy, in Maine directed him towards the realization of competing professionally.
Frank has qualified and raced in national events including the US Grand Prix and Swatch Boardercross Tours, as well as several US Open Contests. With 21 years of experience, Frank is a perfect match for this sport as he brings intense energy and passion to every aspect of his craft. He currently resides in Seattle, WA, where he is an avid music enthusiast, mountain biker, hiker, golfer and true patron of living the good life.
