Mattias has been skiing at Stevens Pass for 18 years. In the past he instructed for Lake City Elks, Olympic Ski School, and did private lessons. Mattias’ competition experience includes Halfpipe and Slopestyle events around the Northwest. While Mattias loves all aspects of skiing, he especially enjoys powder skiing, and the endless faceshots which are so common at Stevens Pass.

Mattias recently earned a Master’s in Teaching, and is currently a secondary substitute teacher in Seattle. When not teaching or skiing, Mattias loves to listen to music and hang out with his son.
